In many countries, students leave high school without learning how to manage their money. Why is that the case? What could be done to tackle the issue? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

As we all know, “
money
plays a vital role in our lives”;
however
, learning to manage our finances is
also
important. In
this
day and age, many high
school
graduates move out without gaining a skill in financial
management
.
Although
this
is an issue of concern, because of the aforementioned reasons; so alternatively, we can resolve
this
issue by applying various practices. Throwing light on the causes of setting
this
trend that pupils are not in how to manage their funds is because it is not considered as an important
part
to be learnt.
Moreover
, there are different subjects which are covered in tertiary education
such
as Science, Languages, History etc.;
however
, units related to any practical issues are not the
part
of
school
syllabus. To cite an example here,
money
management
is not the
part
of lessons which are being taught. Another cause
that is
, it is
also
believed in society that children are not trusted with funds by their parents and teachers.
In addition
to
this
, they remain independent and answerable to their elders.
Therefore
, children after completing their higher education do not have any idea of managing their
money
. Moving
further
with recommendable solutions, there are various ways which could help these youngsters to learn about handling
money
with responsibility. First and foremost, educational institutes could include subjects in their curriculum related to finances which will provide knowledge and value for
money
to young students.
Secondly
, parents can
also
contribute by guiding them
in addition
to
this
, by giving them some financial responsibilities. To illustrate, they can help with pocket
money
, budget shopping, savings and investments.
Finally
, grownups can provide feedback and make finances a mandatory subject in schools.
Nevertheless
, these small steps will lead to giant improvement.
To conclude
, financial
management
is an important topic these days, despite
this
there are plausible reasons that it is not an important
part
of the curriculum as compared to other subjects. To add more, giving funds to younger ones is making elders sceptical about how would they manage. Every coin has two sides, it can be overcome by teaching the students about fund
management
in their
school
years
along with
giving them some cash
management
duties would be better to promote learning before passing out from
school
.
