Your neighbours have recently written to you to complain about the noise from your house/ flat. Write a letter to your neighbours. In your letter explain the reasons for the noise apologise describe what action you will take

Dear neighbour, I would like to apologise for having a bit of noise disturbance at my house
last
night. I was unaware that your family could not sleep properly
due to
having inconvenient noises.
However
, I would like to explain what was going to happen
last
night, my relatives came from overseas and we did a singing competition so as my children told me arranged the sound system with a loudspeaker which helped to entertain more. And, I could not reject my children's wish and set a high level of volume audio in the system. I hope you can understand our circumstances which created a high level of noise pollution for you and ruined your sleeping time. But, I assure you that next time I will be more careful about
this
and ask permission if I have to do any function or party. Is that right for you? Thank you for your time and for accepting my apologies. Your lovely neighbour, Joseph Macon
