The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011
The given line graph illustrates the number of
questions
which are answered by the tourist information office in a town from
January
to June 2011.
Overall
, there were three types of information received by the tourist office : in person, by letter/
email
and by
telephone
. It can be seen that from
January
to June, face-to-face
questions
and by
telephone
were the highest enquiries obtained,
whereas
questions
gained by letter/
email
were the least. Turning into the information in more detail, we can see that In
January
, despite the fact that more than 400 inquiries were obtained in person
questions
, It rose gradually to 1000 enquiries in the middle of March before overtaking
telephone
to the first position. The figure
then
increased dramatically to almost more than 1800
questions
in the Juny.
In addition
,
although
starting from the first position in
January
at about 900
questions
, the
questions
gained by
telephone
grew slightly to 1000
questions
in April and occupied the second place at 1600 enquiries until the end of the given period
In contrast
, even though, starting in second position at almost 790 queries, the
questions
gained by letter/
email
decreased to roughly 650
questions
in February. After being overtaken by in-person queries in the middle of February, the by-letter /
email
questions
decreased to just under 400
questions
in June.
