To begin
with, there are a variety of reasons behind the problems which are created by the overpopulation in many cities. One possible reason is that educated and skilled

This
is because students and technically skilled
people
tend to move to the
city
areas.
For example
, most of the renowned organizations established their factories including the head office in Dhaka, the capital
city
of Bangladesh.
Therefore
, Dhaka
city
has been crowded at an alarming rate over the years. Another reason is that the governments of many countries are focused on centralized
infrastructure
development
rather than taking the initiative for rural
development
. The
people
living in the urban areas are getting a taste of economic
development
whereas
people
living in the villages struggling with ensuring the minimum living standard.
Hence
, the less economic
development
initiatives by the
government
encourage the
people
to live in the
city
. There are two effective solutions to tackle the aforementioned issues caused by overpopulation.
Firstly
, the
government
may redesign its long-term urban planning to decentralize
infrastructure
development
. If the
government
takes steps to establish industries and educational institutions in the countryside,
then
students and workable
people
will be interested in staying at their places. In conclusion,
although
overpopulation has been creating a lot of difficulties in cities all around the world, by taking the aforementioned measures, the
government
may address these issues associated with better working opportunities
as well as
the
development
of
infrastructure
.
