The bar chart illustrates percentages of househould funding spent by family units in two different years: 1968 and 2018. At a glance,
while
most proprtion of payment in 1968 dominated in food, that of weekly income was predominantly spent on leisure in 2018,
whereas
the ratio of funds spent on household remained stable at 8% in both years. Looking at four particular type of payment: food, power, cloths, and personal goods, that expereinced a downward trand compared between 1968 and 2018, meanwhile, families' money spent on meals, cloths, and personal goods significant dipped about two times from 35 % to 17%, 10% to 5%, and 8% to 4%, respectively,
while
that of power minimally declined only 3 %.
On the other hand
, other categories of household payment encountered an upward trend,
while
the number of housing and leisure increased two and three times, respectively, that of transportation rose slightly from 8% to 14%.
