in Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey on three types of
consumer
items in 2002.
Overall
, most people in the five countries spent their money on food, drink and Tobacco,
while
the lowest
expenditure
was on leisure and Education.
Then
, Turki was the country with the highest outlay compared to the four countries. In terms of food, drinks and Tobacco, Turkey spent the most at 32,14% followed by Ireland, at 28,91 %. It compared with Sweden and Italy spent at least (15.77%) and (16.36%) respectively.
In contrast
, Leisure and Education was the least of
consumer
expenditure
which accounted for under 5%. In
this
outlay, the Turki
consumer
dominated around 4.35%. The next items were clothing and footwear which were dominated by
consumer
spending from Italy at 9%.
On the other hand
, Sweden was the lowest country which bought
this
stuff at 5.40%. The remaining countries have similar rates of
consumer
expenditure
in clothing and footwear, just over 6%.
