The central government, the city government and individuals should all be responsible for protecting the environment. Do you agree or disagree?

There is no denying the fact that environmental
protection
can be a debatable subject.
While
it is a commonly held belief that some
individuals
think that to protect the environment it should be a shared responsibility between the central government, the city government and
individuals
. In my opinion, I totally agree with
this
statement.
To begin
with, the Central government should enact and enforce environmental laws.
In other words
, allocate appropriate funds for environmental
protection
programs, and set national standards for pollution control.
In addition
, City governments play a crucial role in implementing these policies at the local level.
For example
, They can introduce recycling programs, manage waste effectively, and ensure green spaces are maintained within the city. Another point to consider is that the collaboration between these entities is essential for comprehensive environmental
protection
. It is
also
possible to say that, public awareness campaigns jointly organized by governments and community groups can educate
individuals
about their roles in protecting the environment.
Moreover
,
Individuals
can contribute by adopting eco-friendly practices
such
as reducing waste, conserving energy and water, and choosing sustainable modes of transportation.
For instance
, they can cut carbon consumption by travelling frequently by public transport. They can take the underground or ride bikes to work
instead
of driving private cars. In conclusion, despite people having different views, I believe that environmental
protection
is a shared responsibility because challenges
such
as global warming, pollution, and loss of biodiversity require concerted efforts. No single entity can address these complex issues alone, making collective action necessary.
