The line graph shows the global demand of different types of textile from 1980 to 2015.

The line graph shows the global demand of different types of textile from 1980 to 2015.
The provided line graph below represents the global requirement of four diverse types of materials , namely :
Polyester
,Cotton ,
Cellulosic
and
Wool
between 1980 and 2015. As can be seen from the graph, during
this
period the biggest shift was witnessed in
Polyester
.
It is clear that
from 1980 to 1990 the figures for
this
material rose steadily and
then
fluctuated dramatically until 2000. After these changes , the need for
Polyester
increased steeply and by 2015 , It had reached Its peak (70 million tons). It is
also
worth noting that
Cellulosic
and
Wool
were the sole textiles which had changed differently. Quite as much
Cellulosic
as
Wool
was demanded in 2000 (approximately 5 million tons).
In contrast
,
after
this
period, the data for
Cellulosic
experienced a gradual increase ,
while
Wool
became less popular and had bottomed out at nearly 1 million tons by 2015. It can
therefore
be concluded that from 1980 to 2015 ,
Polyester
was much more relevant than other materials . Meanwhile, the statistics for
Cellulosic
and
Wool
were relatively diverse.
