, it is noticeable that the amount of female
parliament
was much less in the UK and Belgium compared to the other three European countries in the first year,
however

number rose in the following years. With regard to the comparison between the five countries below, only 5% of British
women
were interested in

field in 2000,
while
Germans were in first place in

field with almost 35%. As moving on,
however
, the percentage in the UK experienced a sharp growth and reached on fifth of the total number. Belgian

, started at 17% and rose steadily in
