The second point to note is that visitors staying on cruise ships was also increasing. Looking more closely, the number of people fell slightly from 2011 at 0.5 million to around 0.25 million, but after that, increased to 2 million in 2017. Interestingly, the number of visitors staying on island had no changes from 2013 to 2017. Specifically, it rose from low of about 0.75 million in 2010 to 1.5 amillion in 2013,but from 2013 to 2017, the number was almost the same at 1.5 million.
