News stories on TV and in newspapers are very often accompanied by pictures. Some people say that these pictures are more effective than words. What is your opinion about this?

. In my perspective, graphics remain in mind for a longer period of time
as compared to words
or sayings because of human psychology.
We remember things for long periods which is not common. Pictures
are not as common as words
as we listen to words
more than we saw

that I had watched on the PTV news

that they can remember for a long time
