Dear Jass, I am thrilled to hear from you after a long time. I am writing
this
letter to provide you with some advice regarding your upcoming camping trip
this
summer. I am confident that you and your family will enjoy
this
great outdoor recreational activity, especially since you are a nature lover. Spending the night in the trees and enjoying the pleasant mountain weather will surely be a wonderful experience.
However
, please keep in mind that there may be a chance of encountering wild animals at night, so you must be very careful and ensure the safety of your family. I
also
love visiting places with lots of trees and greenery. Unfortunately, I have already planned a trip to Dubai
this
summer. But, I promise to go with you next time. Please feel free to contact me if you require any
further
information. Best Regards,
Lovejit

Task Response
To improve your task response score, ensure that you address all parts of the prompt fully. While you mentioned why your friend would enjoy camping and touched upon the disadvantages, expanding on these points with more detail and providing specific examples or personal experiences could make your response richer and more engaging.
Coherence and Cohesion
For coherence and cohesion, organizing your ideas more clearly with better paragraphing could help. Each main idea should start a new paragraph, and clearer transitional phrases between these ideas could enhance the flow of your letter. Also, consider varying your sentence structures to add rhythm and interest to your writing.

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
