The two maps below show the changes that have taken place in the town of Westley since 1815.

The maps illustrate how a city called Westley has developed since 1815.
Overall
, what stands out from the graphs is that there has been a significant development in terms of transportation and entertainment facilities. In the year 1815,there was a road that ran from the southwest of the city occupied by 5 large fields to Tinton village and Lord Westley's house.Along the east side of the road, there was the church, coach inn ,market square and a number of houses as well.A branch of the road led to Twine Tell Birge which was constructed on Twine River and the other side of the river ran to London.Meanwhile, woodland was situated in the northeast of the site. At present, the bridge and fields have been demolished and a railway and a station(next to it) have been constructed.Houses were knocked down to make way for business and residential areas.
Furthermore
,woodland was chopped down and replaced with London housing estate
