Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing
this
letter to give you a review regarding my experience at the Japanese
cuisine course last
summer.
My favourite part while
taking the Advanced Sushi course was concerning the teacher's methodology. More specifically, the way she prepared the content based on real Japanese
culture, including the history behind popular ingredients such
as rice, and how it changed Japan's culinary habits over the centuries.
As for my personal practice, my teacher would be pleased to know that I have been practising new sushi recipes every day since I graduated. Additionally
, I often do dinner parties for my friends on weekends and they seem to have been enjoying my new cooking skills.
Another course that I would love to see at the school in the future would be about Japanese
confectionary. For instance
, which desserts and candies have changed over time, and which ones have not. I think it would be an interesting subject to complement my knowledge about Japanese
cuisine.
I hope this
information can be useful to you. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours faithfully,
