You have a recently started work in a new company Write a letter to an English-Speaking friend. In your letter explain why you changed jobs describe your news job tell him her your other news

Dear May, How are you and your mother doing ? I hope you are doing great . Are you still working in M&S ? I got a job at Tesco as a customer service assistant after I moved to Hendon. As you know , it is very difficult for me to adjust working hours because of my school .
That is
the main reason that I left Quicksilver. For the moment , I have a good relationship with my new manager and he allows me to work at weekends from 9 am to 9 pm .
This
helps me to study peace of mind and I can finish my assignments on time. If I did not quit Quicksilver , I would fail the exams . Do you remember Tracy ? She got accepted at Middlesex University and all her hard work paid off . She just arrived in London
last
week and she is staying with me now. Do visit me when you have time . We can catch up with each other. I miss you and give my regards to your mom. Love you and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best regards, Sandi

General Writing Improvement
Consider varying your sentence structure to add more depth to your writing. This can make your letter more engaging and dynamic.
Coherence and Cohesion
To enhance coherence, use more transition words or phrases to connect your ideas more smoothly.
Writing Tone
Your friendly and personal tone throughout the letter is fitting for its purpose and audience, which is commendable.
Structure and Cohesion
You've done well in structuring your letter, appropriately opening and closing the correspondence and clearly segregating different points into separate paragraphs.

Structure your letter

A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:

  • A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
  • The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
  • A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)

When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.

All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
