The map below shows two possible sites (s1 and s2) of a new supermarket planned for the town of GARLSDON
The map illustrates a two-
site
anticipated plan for a Garlsdon's town supermarket.
Overall
, the first
site
of the proposed plan will cover a larger portion of the area with numerous facilities in it
whereas
,
site
2 will only serve a relatively smaller population. In terms of zone one; the countryside,
it is clear that
different infrastructure
such
as roads, rail, housing and industry will be set up with housing occupying the Northern and Southern regions.
Additionally
, main roads will run through the
site
from NW to SW with just 12km and 25km distance to Hindon and Cransdon respectively.
Furthermore
, the same road will go all the way to the greater SE and SW, 16km North of Bransdon.
On the other hand
, the railway will
also
pass through the countryside to the North of Cransdon. With regards to
site
two which is the town centre, it is proposed to serve the supermarket without any traffic zone in place.
However
, the trailway will still cross the city centre going all the way to SW from NW.
