In 1985, energy
produced dominantly from oil at 52%. Other energy
sources in total contributed less than half, with nuclear and natural gas being utilized over one-tenth at 22% and 13% respectively. The rest were insignificantly producing energy
with coal at 8%, hydrogen at 4% and other renewable as the lowest at 1%.
In contrast
, the proportion of energy
generated in 2003 apparently had changed drastically, with energy
from oil declining to the level of 39%. Nuclear energy
generators also
experienced a decrease in energy
produced by 5%. On the other hand
, natural gas recorded an apparent increase in producing energy
with 10% more compared to 1985. Furthermore
