This graph shows the proportion of four different materials that were recycled from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country.
The above line chart depicted the recycling percentage of four different materials from 1982 to 2010 in a selected country.
Both paper and glass have been recycled since 1982. Paper was the most recycled material throughout the whole surveyed timeframe. The Recycling
rate
fluctuated between 65% to 70% from 1982 to 1990, before the increment to the optimal level of 80% in 1994. A gradual decrease was then
observed, with the rate
returned to 70% in 2010. Glassware came second in terms of recycling rate
. There was a minor depression of 10% seen from 1982 to 1990. A steady increase was noticed after 1990, reaching the final level of 60% in the end period.
The recycling of aluminum
and plastics was later than the former two described materials. Aluminium has been collected in 1986, with a minimal number of 5%. Change the spelling
aluminium
However
, the recycling rate
rose sharply by 9 times after 1986, reaching 45% in 2010. Plastics, although
being the last
and the least recycled item, were also
seen with a small increase to around 10% in 2010.
An increasing trend was noticed in most of the materials except paper, despite the later material topped the charts in all periods. Recycled material has increased in variety, with the introduction of aluminium and plastics was shown.Submitted by huiloksumstephanie on
