As can be seen obviously from the chart, developed countries, Latin America and East Asia were all the places that contained a very minimal amount of illiterate people. Regarding developed countries, the illiterate male and female were about 2% and 3%, respectively. In reference to the Carribean, these figures were approximately 10% for males and 12% for females.
