The diagram represents how the village of Ryemouth changed from 1995 to the present.

Overall

it is clear that

several developments have been made to the village including an increase in the number of sports and residential areas. For more illustration, in the north part of the map, there were few houses in 1995. It is noticeable that the number of houses increased located near the main road

along with

the coastal road in the present. Green areas like farmland were replaced with a golf course and the forest, which used to be next to the farmland, was cut down and turned into a tennis club. Turning to the south, the shop and the fish market were substituted by five restaurants and four apartments.

While

the hotel and cafeteria remain unchanged, the car park was built next to the hotel.

In addition

, the fishing business completely disappeared with the removal of fishing ports in the sea.
