The tables provide the data of the British people who travelled abroad for various purposes during the period 1994 and 1998 and the most popular destinations during the same time. In general, what stands out from the figure is that there was a significant upward trend in the overseas tourism of UK residents. Another interesting point is that Western Europe was more popular than North America and other areas. At a glance, most British went abroad during the holiday in 1994.
