These days, many schools and offices have open-space design. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

These days, open-space designs are becoming more popular in places like schools and offices. In my opinion,
this
trend has negative effects,
such
as causing distractions and making it easier for illnesses to
spread
. One major issue is that open spaces make it hard for people to focus on important tasks and lack the privacy that workers and students need. The constant noise and interruptions can significantly lower productivity.
This
is why separate rooms are more effective and preferable for both work and study, contributing to a more positive environment. Another concern is the quick
spread
of infections in open spaces. Without barriers, viruses can easily
spread
among individuals, especially those with weaker immune systems, like school children and teenagers who might not pay attention to their health. The open atmosphere can
also
lead to increased stress as people feel exposed and constantly watched,
further
reducing their efficiency and well-being. In conclusion,
while
open-space designs might seem modern and collaborative, they come with significant drawbacks. The lack of privacy, increased distractions, and higher risk of illness
spread
make
Add the particle
to make
show examples
them less ideal compared to traditional, separate rooms.
