Nowadays, society prefers a fast and more convenient lifestyle, mostly affected by their work requirements. The bar chart proves that working or other external factors can have a big impact on how people prefer their living methods. It clearly shows the significant shifts in homeownership and renting trends among people aged 25-34 in the UK between 2004 and 2014. Notably, the
percentage
of homeowners decreased
while
the
percentage
of renters increased. Over a 10-year period, homeownership rates among communities aged 25-34 declined significantly during the proportion of renters, ultimately surpassing homeowners by the end of it all. The
percentage
of homeowners was approximately 58% in 2004, which is 30% higher than the renter rate. Over time,
this
percentage
slightly declined to approximately 56% in 2006 but
then
steadily decreased until eventually reaching about 52% by 2011.
Moreover
, in 2012, it steadily dropped
further
to almost 52% before steadily declining over time and
finally
reaching around 36% by 2014.
Besides
the owners, in 2004, approximately 20% of people were renting, the figure kept rising to approximately 33% by 2005 and remaining stable until 2006. Over the subsequent five years,
however
,
this
rate experienced considerable steady growth, eventually reaching around 41% by 2011. It stabilized for another year before skyrocketing even
further
to 47% by 2014, dramatically surpassing homeownership rates altogether.
