The line graph illustrates the

and opened new
shops
in the period between 2011 to 2018. There were ups and downs in the
number
of closed and newly opened
shops
in the period from 2011 to 2018. In 2011, the
number
of newly opened
shops
was clearly higher than the
number
of closed
shops
with 8,500 new
shops
opened in 2011. The
number
of newly opened
shops
noticed a huge
drop
in 2012, going down to 4000. There was a steady rise in the
number
of newly opened
shops
between 2012 to 2014. The
number
of newly opened
shops
had another less significant
drop
In 2015. After that, the
number
of newly opened
shops
remained steady till 2017, before noticing a slight
drop
in 2018. In 2011, The
number
of closed
shops
was around 6,500.
Then
, it noticed a slight
drop
in 2012, before rising again in 2013 to reach its highest time in
this
period with slightly above 7,000 closed
shops
. In the following years, the

of closed
shops
declined to reach its lowest time in 2015 with slightly less than 1,000
shops
. The following year noticed a significant rise, before staying steady for 2 years from 2016 to 2018. In Conclusion, the

of newly opened

was the highest in 2011,
while
the
number
of closed
shops
was the highest in 2013. The lowest
number
of closed
shops
was in 2015,
while
the smallest
number
of newly opened
shops
was in 2018.
