in the period between 2011 to 2018. There were ups and downs in the number
of closed and newly opened shops
in the period from 2011 to 2018.
In 2011, the number
of newly opened shops
was clearly higher than the number
of closed shops
with 8,500 new shops
opened in 2011. The number
of newly opened shops
noticed a huge drop
in 2012, going down to 4000. There was a steady rise in the number
of newly opened shops
between 2012 to 2014. The number

had another less significant drop
In 2015. After that, the number

remained steady till 2017, before noticing a slight drop
in 2018.

was around 6,500. Then
