Last month, you visited another town. You had arranged to meet up with a friend who lives in the town, but you were not able to do so. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter - apologise for not meeting him/her - explain why you did not contact him/her earlier - suggest a time and place to meet in the future

Dear Pooja , Hope you are doing well, I am writing
this
letter to apologise to you that I was not able to meet you during my recent visit to your city. Actually , I came to Delhi
last
week for two days to attend my cousin's sister's wedding. I was planning to meet you but I got stuck in a marriage function and
moreover
,
while
dancing in a sangeet ceremony , my feet got stuck into the carpet and
then
my phone fell down
although
my phone screen has broken and believe me
this
is the only reason I did not call you .
Furthermore
, On 24th August again I will be in your city to attend my office conference but
this
time definitely we will meet . Please confirm if can we meet on 25th August at 6:00 pm, Laxmi Nagar near Nirman Metro Station. Please do let me know over the phone if any changes are required in the programme. Once again sorry I couldn't meet you
last
time. Lots of love Regards Priti
