The two maps illustrate the changes which have taken place in Ryemouth's village from 1995 to the present day.
Overall
, it can be observed that there have been several modifications as golf and tennis courts were the result of a combination of farmland and forest park.
Additionally
, the most noticeable of these is the increase in residential areas
such
as apartments and houses. Looking at the southern side of the village, where the fish market was knocked down and replaced with the 4 apartments . Regarding the opposite of
this
, where the fishing port was constructed between 1995 and the current day. Adjacent to the apartments , the small coffee shop on the east of the coastline remained unchanged Turning towards the remaining north on the diagrams, it is apparent that the new car park was built next to the hotel located near the T-junction. In the northeast of the village, the farmland and forest park were unified with each other to build golf
as well as
tennis courts.
In addition
, the road on the northwestern side was expanded to become the crossroad with the appearance of the 2 new houses next to it. As for the west, the 5 small shops in the west were repurposed into a large restaurant.
