The line chart below shows the results of a survey giving the reasons why people moved

to the capital city of a particular country.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make

comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.
The line graph shows typical reasons for people in a particular country to move to the capital city between 2000 and 2015. We can clearly see the outstanding rise in studying purposes over the fifteen-year period. The need to move for study support has three different stages. It began to jump hard from 2000 to 2005, with a rate of 24,000. Come to the mid-stage,
this
reason
kept going up gently to about 56,000. Again, from 2010 to 2015, ‘study’ made its
last
rocket jump and landed
at the end
of the graph period with a figure of closing 89,000. Compared to the beginning of 2010; it was about 31,000 more. On the other side, the number of people relocating for work was always higher than 60,000 at the start of the phase, which is 2000. Take a
further
look at 2005, the ‘work’ purpose has a dramatic increase to over 85,000. Reaching the middle term, from 2005 to 2010, we can see a steady growth to a colossal figure of all time in the chart – 92,000. From
then
(2010), it began to be the only
reason
that went through a downturn and stopped at close to 89,000 in 2015, the same level as the amount of who moved to study. The ‘adventure’ and ‘family/friends’
also
cannot be missed. These two categories rosing most stably and steadily of all four motivations. They can be said to have performed almost a parallel development for more than a decade. ‘Adventure’
reason
made a slow climb from 11,000 to 15,000, and
besides
that ‘Family/Friends’ relocating rate is
also
humble but left a more obvious growth trace -11,000 to 21,000 in the first ten years and remained stable for the
last
five as 22,000 in 2015. In conclusion, the line graph notably shows there was an increase in all four of the motivations for moving to the capital of a specific city. And studying has the most skyrocket rate, enough to become a main
reason
for people to move in the past 15 years.
