The plans below show a harbour in 2000 and how it looks today. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

The two charts display the layout of the Porth Habour in 2000 and what changes have been made nowadays. The most obvious changes are that an extra dock is added to park more boats and a building for cafes and shops is constructed.
Besides
that, the layout of the whole harbour basically remains, but the locations of some sites and facilities have been rearranged.
To begin
with, the noticeable modifications are as follows.
Firstly
, the originally disused castle at the southeast corner is transformed into a hotel.
Together with
this
, a nearby public beach is no longer open to everyone but only to the customers in the hotel.
Secondly
, a path leading to the hotel is built and it joins the road leading to the place where the lifeboats are parked.
Finally
, the two coves to park private yachts and fishing boats have their locations switched, with Marina in the south, and beside which a building for showers and toilets is situated. At
last
, it is worth mentioning that the location of the public beach in the north remains unchanged. Still, there are two car parks, with the smaller one connecting with the main road and the other one forking from the road leading to the lifeboats.
