The two maps illustrate the comparison between the existing Norbiton industrial area and the future improvement of the location.
Overall
, there are some extensive developments, not only to change factories into housing areas but also
some additional facilities needed.
The Norbiton industrial area is currently located in the southern part of the farmland separated by a flyover, at the east side of the town. There is one roundabout with two main roads, the first is on the east side where four factories and one at the end
of the road were built.
The planned future development will completely transform the industrial site into a residential area. Although
the location will remain the same in the southern part of the farmland, there will be an additional roundabout on the south part of the existing one. Road extensions will be built not only in the north but also
in the northwest to provide more housing areas. Lastly
, there will be many facilities around the housing areas, such
as shops, a medical center
, a playground, and a school.Change the spelling
