The diagram below shows how a biofuel called ethanol is produced. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The graph below illustrates how to produce a kind of biofuel named
ethanol
and its relevant carbon cycle. It's obvious that there are 5 stages in the manufacturing process of making ethanol
, these mainly contain harvesting and pre-processing the original plants
, chemical processing and adding microbes to sugars.
At the first step
of the process, plants
and trees that have already grown are harvested by machines and then
poured into the pulverizers for pre-processing. After that, these plants
are converted into small pieces of cellulose 3rd stage. In the following step
4, the materials that come from the last
step
are sent into the factories for chemical processing, with the output of sugar for further
steps.
Once the sugar is made, some specific microbes are added to them in the 5th step
. Finally
, under the effects of relevant chemical reactions, ethanol
is produced and used as fuel for both land and air transportation. In addition
, these vehicles burn ethanol
and emit carbon dioxide, the latter is then
converted into energy with the effect of sunlight for plants
and trees .Submitted by Phigros666 on
