There are two maps which display the modifications in a schoolyard between 1985 and the current day.
Overall
, the main road, the office, the classrooms, and the playing field have the same location now as they had in 1985. The area playing field, which is on the south
side
of the yard, is smaller
while
the green areas are larger these days than in 1985. They built one more classroom structure and added one more storey to the old classroom block at the
centre
of the yard because the school population increased by more than 50% to 2300. A swimming pool and a fitness
centre
were built on the west
side
of the shrinking playing field.
On the other hand
, the office on the northwest
side
remained the same as it was in 1985.
However
, the library, on the south
side
of the office, was changed into the learning resources
centre
and a computer room was added with the new technological equipment. The main road and the parking area were removed and it can be seen that some trees were planted at the
centre
of the map.
