The maps below show the centre of a small town called slip as it is now, and plans for its development.
The following pictures illustrate the current status of the centre of a small town named Islip and the future plans for its development.
At first glance, it is evident that the town is planned to be more urbanized by adding new facilities
such
as a bus station and car parking. Looking at the details, the main road is projected to turn into a walkway, where only pedestrians are allowed. Moreover
, a dual carriageway is predicted to be constructed all around the area.
Furthermore
, the northern shops are expected to be pulled down, making space for new buildings and facilities. This
empty space will be filled with new housing at the right, a bus station at the left, and a shopping centre and car parking in the middle of the space. Another interesting point is that the number of housing will be increased from 2 to 4, which means 2 new housing will be added to the centre of Islip. Finally
, only the school and the park will remain unchanged after the development.Submitted by ava.saljoughi on
