The rumours
news
is a common problem in many countries around the world. I would like to explore some of the reasons for the modern phenomenon and offer some possible solutions to deal with it. I believe that one of the main issues it will cause to the community is the loss of trust in social media platforms.
This
means it might be difficult for individuals to distinguish between real and false
news
. There is no easy answer to
this
, but perhaps the government could legislate media centres in each ministry to ensure that every
news
is real and centres gain confidence from
people
.
For instance
,
people
in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia do not take any
news
from anywhere except the real account of the ministry centre. Another crucial issue that fake
news
can cause is anxiety and stress among individuals. One result of
this
is that it impacts
people
's mental health and increases public fear. Perhaps famous
people
in different fields could run awareness campaigns to highlight the need for action,
such
as imposing penalties on anyone who publishes them, which would definitely help to tackle the problem of the negative impacts that fake
news
leaves on
people
.
Although
fake
news
is certainly very common, perhaps the above-mentioned ideas could help solve or at least alleviate the problem.
