A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

The contradiction between opposing views of how animals must be treated is a long standing arguement. Some people argue that these living beings have the same level of consciouness as a human being and must be treated eqaully. However, the various needs to to exploit them for our own benefits appears to be inhumanes. In the discussion below I will discussing my opinions on both views and will be leaning towards the prior one.
