The diagram below shows the process for recycling plastic bottles. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant
The chart illustrates the techniques of how plastic bottles are recycled.
Overall
, the whole recycling activity consists of nine individual steps, where the cycle starts with collection from the bin and ends with the production of different types of items prepared from raw supplies.
First of all, people gather their used plastic materials in their nearby bins. In the next step, these plastics are then
collected by using trucks and later sent to the recycling centre in the following stage, where they are separated, called sorting, based on different criteria like size, colour, and type. Next,
these products are compressed into blocks using mechanical devices and subsequently
crushed into small segments using two-wheelers in the later phase. After that, crushed plastics are washed in a large container and afterwards sent to another machine to produce plastic pellets. In the next action, raw goods are produced from those pellets by a specific heating method. In the final process, various types of items are produced, like bottles, T-shirts, bags, pens, and boxes, from raw supplies and are ready to use.Submitted by zobaermasum12 on
