The highest women illiteracy figure was in South Asia
with 55% meanwhile in the developed countries it was just 11 times less than in South Asia
with 5%. It was obvious that In Sub-Saharan Africa and Arab states, female rates were approximately close to each other, accounting for 48 and 52 respectively.
According to
the chart, men
's ability to read and write constituted a minority compared to women’s figure. The standout fact is that the highest rate of men
belongs to South Asia
which was not over 35%. In East Asia
, uneducated males’ number was a quarter of the Arab States' rate with 7. The Latin American percentage of men
with less educational capabilities was one-third of Sub-Saharan Africa’s rate at 10%. In the developed countries there were fewer illiteracy rates among both genders where the figures were estimated at 2% and 1% for women and men
