You want to complain about the service you received in the hotel you stayed in while attending a recent meeting. Write a letter to the person who organised the meeting in you letter 1) Describe the meeting 2) Explain the prblems with the service 3) suggest what the meeting organiser should do
Dear XYZ,
I am writing in regard to my stay at your
hotel
on 2nd November. I regret to inform you that I had a frustratingly bad experience. I had to travel from Bangalore to Delhi for an ABC club meeting that was hosted in your hotel
. Since I had to travel at night I decided to book a room to ensure a seamless transfer and for an early start. My nightmare began right the moment I checked in. Even though I came quite late , at around 6 PM, my room was not ready. There was a mosquito and roach infestation which was not fixed even after I made several calls to the hotel
reception. I had an early morning start at around 9 and to my surprise, the meeting room we had booked was also
not ready on time. Our prior request for microphones, a speaker, extra 5 chairs, nothing was taken care of by the hotel
administration. Due to
all this
, we could start the meeting only after 11AM. I had angry shareholders to cater to post this
harrowing experience.
I would like to humbly request that management must do a review of what went wrong. I believe there were multiple meetings booked at the same venue, though the staff should have been aware and prepped for such
a scenario, for the future please ensure that you do not overbook the place beyond what the staff can handle.
