The graph below shows our methods of dealing with waste in four countries. Summary the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The graph illustrates waste-management ways in four European countries the UK,
Spain
, Italy and the Netherlands.
It can be clearly seen that the Netherlands recycled most of its trash
compared to the other countries where the most common method was leaving rubbish in the wasteyard.
Around 70% of garbage in the Netherlands was recycled and 30% was either burnt, used as chemicals or left in landfills. Both Spain
and Italy disposed of around 40% of trash
in landfills. Burning was the second most common method standing at 30% in Spain
and 22% in Italy. Recycling and using trash
as chemicals were less popular and used for one-third of the trash
.
Similar to Spain
and Italy, disposal of trash
in junkyards was the most common approach in the UK reaching almost 70%. Around 15% and 10% of garbage were used as chemicals or recycled, respectively. However
, burning was unpopular in the UK with less than 5% of waste managed this
way.Submitted by ghadeersulami on
