Details of politicians’ private lives should not be published in newspapers. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In the current age of the internet, everything and everyone is online, because of
this
, it is almost impossible to keep any
information
 private, especially when society is hell-bent on peeping inside one's life. The popularity of common people's vlogs is a testament to the fact that the general public is quite curious to know what happens in one's life.
However
, things get complicated when the person of interest is a politician or a well-known face, a celebrity if you will. Curiosity piques and somehow there is no
such
 thing as a boundary. Every day we see photos or videos of
such
 encounters where no prior consent has been taken. Breach of
information
 of
such
 extent is mentally straining for a person who is the centre of attention. It
also
 sends a wrong message to the public that it is ok to invade somebody else's privacy. When we talk about politicians, the same principle should be applied. Their private lives must remain private,
however
, I would like to add that being public servant,
information
 like their accumulated wealth and taxes must be shared with the public.
This
 can
also
 in turn make the public trust the politician.
However
, no one needs to know who the person is married to or who they are dating. But what have they been doing for the betterment of the public is surely something that must be discussed and shared. There should be a clear distinction between what is private
information
 and what is public
information
. Hiding the fact that a politician got some businessman's backing to run the election campaign surely sways the election result and
this
 is a dishonest way to run for a public post. Clarity and general awareness are necessary.
