The letter is mostly well-structured. However, you can further improve it by organizing sentences clearly and focusing on one idea per paragraph. In paragraph two, clearly separate the reasons for wanting to stay in the apartment for better coherence.
Task Achievement
Ensure to provide a specific solution or request more clearly. For instance, you might want to ask the landlord if you're allowed to find a flatmate yourself or suggest an advertisement. This further specifies your needs.
Coherence and Cohesion
The letter has a good, respectful tone that is suitable for formal correspondence. It begins with a proper greeting and ends with an appropriate closing, which enhances its professionalism.

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
