Dear Sir/Madam, I hope
this
email finds you well. I am a resident of Kitchener City and believe that your reputable newspaper would be an excellent platform to advertise my apartment for rent. I would like the advertisement to specify that the apartment has three bedrooms and can accommodate a maximum of six people.
Additionally
, it should include key details
such
as the facilities and amenities provided to tenants, the duration of the initial lease, and my contact information for interested applicants. Considering the urgency of renting out
this
property, I kindly request that the advertisement be placed on the front page of your newspaper to maximize visibility. Please send me an invoice with the total cost, and I will promptly arrange payment. I look forward to your response. Thank you for your assistance. Yours faithfully, xxx

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
