English is fast becoming a global language. As a result, it is predicted by some language experts that the entire human population will speak one common language in the years to come. I believe that this is going to be a positive development. By providing more business opportunities to people across the globe, and bringing advancements in science and technology, it will serve as a tool for future human progress.

It is increasingly popular today that some individuals opt to take a period of time off to apply for a job or go somewhere before pursing tertiary education. My own view on this matter is that it has more drawbacks than benefits which also show some merits.

Citizens of some nations tend to keep up with the latest fashion and hairstyles. In my opinion, celebrity influence is the root cause of this trend and it is a bad thing. Firstly, this essay will discuss how it changes the personality of the person and secondly, how the compulsive urge to stay updated with fashion can be a problematic factor when it comes to finances.

Some people hold the view that increasing taxes on unhealthy products can encourage people to lead a healthy lifestyle. I partly agree with this argument as I believe that other measures should also be implemented.

Healthy mind and healthy body is the need of this hour. While, some people contend that it's an individual accountability to look after their own fitness and intake of healthy food. I firmly opine, that an amalgamation of these two thoughts can lead to a healthier civilization all together. This essay will examine both views and will try to draw an inference.

It is very necessary for parents and teachers to teach them, first, by suggestion followed by punishment if they manage to do the same mistake. This essay agrees that it is acceptable to give child punishment so they know the difference between good and bad. Firstly, this essay will discuss the fact that punishment teaches children to be responsible and secondly, discuss punishment doesn’t always have to be physical.

Some individuals believe that environmental issues too big of one person to handle; however, others argue that every people should take action to save the environment. The issue consists of different points of view. Prior to my inclination, both the views are elaborated further.

The 20th century has seen many many advancements such as IT, Industrial revolution, owing to these phenomenons the upcoming generation is more bent towards studying the subjects, which are related to engineering or medical streams. The public authorities thinks that, by investing higher bugdets in science streams as compared to arts or commerce will bolster their country development. Some of the critics assert that this is not a health practise and the budget should be aligned equally, however I completly agree that priority should be given to science subject, which will be outlined in the essay.

The 20th century has witnessed many advancements such as Globalisation, Urbanisation and IT revolution. As a result of these developments, people already started migrating among countries because of jobs and education which resulted in diminishing of the national boundaries to a larger extent. While the poor nations are still struggling with basic amenities, the wealthy and established nations namely US, UK has abundant resources to employee talented individuals from underdeveloped sections of the globe. Some critics assert that affluent countries should employee local manpower; however I completely agree that equal opportunities should be given to all talented job seekers even if they are from the poor nations.

Climate change is a serious problem for the past years, and it became a worldwide issue. Many environmental activists are trying to recover the Earth with the new alternative energy resources to run the industrial machine rather than using the fossil fuels.

Parents' intervention can heavily influence a child's personality and behaviour development. It is an interesting subject of discussion whether parents should be liable for their five-year-old child's lawoffending behaviour or even subject to punishment. In my viewpoint, parents must be held responsible.

There is a school of thought that young students should learn about the past of their own agrarian first rather than the international past. I completely agree with this opinion.
