With the rise of e-books comes the decline in paper books. Some people see this as a good step forward while others do not. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this trend.

In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of e-books published in comparison to
paper
books. Whilst many believe that
this
a progressive step in the right direction, others believe that it is not. In
this
essay, I will discuss both sides of the argument at hand. One of the most significant benefits of e-books
is
Suggestion
are
the reduction of
paper
used. As e-books are online and do not require a
paper
medium, it can help reduce deforestation. To illustrate, in order to produce
paper
books,
paper
is needed,
this
paper
comes from trees which are cut down to in order to create
paper
.
Furthermore
, these trees are
homes

home
to many animals and often can lead to the loss of habitat for them.
However
, with introducing e-books, there won’t be a demand for
paper
books which will result in a reduction of the trees cut down.
On the other hand
, without
paper
books, people will spend more time
starring
(used of eyes) open and fixed as if in fear or wonder
staring
at their devices in order to read.
This
can often lead to eye problems due to the continuous exposure to the screen light.
For example
, many people find that after using their electronics for an extended period of time,
this
results in headaches and eye pain.
In addition
, doctors have always warned that children should not be introduced to devices at young ages. If
books
Suggestion
the books
continue to decline
then
there would be no choice but to use these devices for them to learn to read, resulting in harmful effects
for

to
their health. In conclusion,
although
some view the downfall of books an environmental benefit, others feel that it provides a risk to a person’s sight.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
