In many countries today, people in cities either live alone or in small family units, rather than large family groups. Is this a positive or negative trend?

Recently the issue of living has been brought into focus. In most nations, there is a movement towards living alone or in small family units, rather than extended families. From my perspective,
this
Linking Words
trend carries along both merits and drawbacks.
First
Linking Words
and foremost, we have every reason to believe in the benefits generated from living

for
oneself and in small families. One of the viable bonuses cited by people is the independence in various aspects
such
Linking Words
as finance.
For example

, having fewer family members can save a considerable amount of housing bills. Another point worth consideration is that
this
Linking Words
trend allows individuals to indulge in more freedom as well as avoidance from trivial disturbance
such
Linking Words
as using the shower for too long.
Although
Linking Words
this
Linking Words
phenomenon enjoys enormous advantages, it
also
Linking Words
entails consequences. One negative consequence seen among people living in solidarity is the lack of parental support.
In particular
Linking Words
, most people nowadays suffer from various struggles, especially youngsters, in the fast-paced era with high levels of inflation and criminals.
Therefore
Linking Words
, they really need someone experienced regarding fundamental issues and guide them to combat these problems. Another consequence is the deprivation of moral values among children living in nuclear families without their grandparents. In
this
Linking Words
fast-paced era, parents are less likely to spend time with their children, which leads to children being left
with

to
their own devices and inclined to spend time on unhealthy activities
such
Linking Words
as violent games.
As a result
Linking Words
, there is a high possibility of them becoming aggressive and passive. Needless to say, the shortcomings of
this
Linking Words
trend are undeniable. All in all, both sides of
this
Linking Words
movement are worth investigating.
Therefore
Linking Words
, I highly demand
this
Linking Words
paper be taken into scrutiny to adopt suitable guidelines.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
