In Many Places, new homes are needed, but the only space available for building them is in the countryside. some people believe it is more important to protect the countyside and not build new homes there.

With the growing population of urban areas, urbanization of the

 by building more accommodation there is the only option available. While

 should be protected and new houses shouldn't be made there. I personally believe that both these requirements can be met with by replacing houses in cities by apartments. With the rapid development and Industrialization of cities, a population explosion is obvious due to migration of people to these places to meet their needs.

 along with several other issues. With better transport facilities available people are diverting to peripheries to get a cheaper living.

 is adversely affected by construction of new houses. Many people are of the view that

, less land will be available at the periphery for farming and agriculture purpose which is essential to meet the feeding requirements of nearby cities.

 problem lies in replacing the old large mansions in the cities with multi- story apartment buildings, which can accommodate far greater number of families than previously living at that place. Many populated cities of the world have already shifted to

 solution like Tokyo in Japan, Karachi in Pakistan and New Delhi in India. To conclude, I would suggest vertical spread of accommodation rather than horizontal to protect the
countryside
