Some people say the main way to be happy in life is to have a lot of money. How might having a lot of money make people happy? What other things in life can make people happy?

There is no doubt that a lot of people put in so much effort in ensuring that they are happy. While being financially stable is a major source of joy for most people, there are other non-financial sources of happiness.
To begin
with, being wealthy makes it possible to afford almost anything money can buy. Basic human needs
such
as food, shelter, and clothing would not be a problem. Lack of these things could lead to people being disillusioned and unhappy.
Also
, money can be used to go on expensive vacation all over the world. Going out of one’s geographical location to see other cultures has proven to improve the state of mind of humans. A recent research conducted by the therapy union in Nigeria concluded that employees’ happiest moment of the month

Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. One other consideration is self-actualization.
For instance
, the happiest day of my life to date was when I got the final results of my professional exams that confirmed me as a chartered accountant. Prior to that moment, it was a

a qualification was no mean fit at all.
This
gave me so much elation and joy that I could not sleep through the following night. In conclusion,
although
being rich allows people to live a luxury lifestyle which
then
makes them excited, there are other activities and achievement that can give an equal, if not a better, feeling.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
