In some countries, the number of people who visit art galleries is declining. What are the reasons for this? How can we solve this problem.

A generation ago people considered visiting
art
galleries an extremely popular hobby, and in some countries,
this
is still true.
However
, in many parts of the world, there has been a sharp drop in the number of young people who want to visit public
art
galleries. In
this
essay I will look at the reasons for
this
and
then
propose some solutions. One of the main causes of the
problem
is that
art
is not exclusive any longer. Earlier artists needed
art
galleries to display their
creation be

creation, be
it painting, sculpture or any form of
art
.
However today
Accept comma addition
However, today
this
practice is no longer needed as today an artist can publish his work of
art
online on his social media platform and build his own fan following.
Thus
the use of technology has led to the obliteration of the requirement of
art
galleries and as a consequence resulted in downfall in the number of people visiting
art
galleries. Another
problem
is the high prices charged by the
art
galleries
from
Suggestion
of
the novice artists. In order to cooperate with the established artists and keep their own reputation, many
art
galleries reject the artworks of artists who are in the initial phase of their career. Owing to
this
the artists who feel excluded and humiliated choose to exhibit their work of
art
by arranging private exhibitions. The solution is for the
art
galleries to develop a synergy with the artists and avoid being picky about the artworks to be displayed. The management of
art
galleries must embrace all new artists in order to provide them with a sustainable cycle of production. To sum up, visiting
art
galleries has become much less popular leisure activity in many countries, due to the reasons
such
as non-exclusive nature of
art
and lack of coordination between
art
galleries and new artists.
This
is a serious
problem
and unless a synergy is developed between artists and
art
galleries, the number of people visiting
art
galleries will continue to fall. My view is that the main responsibility for solving
this
problem
lies with the
art
galleries.
