Those in Government, were voted into power by the people to oversee the affairs of the country. It is the duty of the Government, to provide working amenities for its citizens. Those with the opinion that money should not be spent on building theatres and sport stadiums by the Government, see these spendings as frivolous. They feel these structures are irrelevant to the growth of a country's economy. The Government
on the other hand
, may have good intentions constructing theatres and sport stadiums.
For example
, revenue can be generated from tickets sold to spectators, who come to these theatres and sport stadiums. These structures, can
also
be used for occasions by international bodies for a fee which is credited to the purse of the Government. For those who say money should be spent by the Government, on medical care and education, believe that these are of paramount importance to the lives of the citizens. Having access to good medical care and good education, impacts directly and positively on the well being of its citizens. With good education, the future of the younger generations is bright. These lads may become renowned individuals with great inventions that will impact positively on mankind. Governments of countries should put in place, forums where suggestions can be given by its citizens on how the country can be governed better.
