people living in large cities have to face many problems in everyday life. what are those problems? should the government encourage people to move to regional areas?

In most countries around the world, citizens have to choose either to live in a large or small city. Those who chose the former often encounter various challenges in their daily life. I am of the opinion that it is necessary for the government to incentivise people to reside in regional areas. As expected, big provinces have features which are significantly different from regional ones and account for the problems the inhabitants face. These issues include over-population, unemployment and high standard of living. Despite the government's continuous focus on these areas, some people live in poverty because they lack the skills required to get the available jobs.
Furthermore
, migration from rural to urban centres stretches the available resources and leads to transportation problems, flooding, food shortage etc. In most cases, the

system becomes inadequate in catering to the needs of the populace as the population continues to grow at a rate higher than
infrastructural
development. In my opinion, the government can ameliorate these issues by providing basic amenities
such
as clean water, good roads and electricity in regional areas.
This
will discourage people from migrating to urban areas.
