Governments give a lot of support to artists, even though some people think it is a waste of money that could have been used elsewhere. Discuss both views and give your opinion

Some are of the opinion that the Government should supportive of artists and others think that rendering significant help to them is a not necessary in every sense of it. In my opinion, I think artists should be given maximum reference when it comes to aiding their course. On one hand, being supportive of artists has a good effect on the image of a
country
as their work promotes the culture and

increasing the influx of tourists, thereby, causing the GDP to rise significantly.
On the other hand

is expected to provide to her citizens. Prioritizing support for artist seems to be a complete loss of focus for an underdeveloped Government who engages in that. In conclusion, though some think that supporting artists is not a waste of money, others are of the opinion that diverting

funds to improve other sectors of the government is more important and I strongly agree with
this
